Web platforms

Marketing sites that load in about a second and web applications that handle real traffic. Designed and engineered as one piece of work.

The Cedar commerce platform, live in the browser Cedar, a concept study

Overview

A marketing site and a web application are the same problem at different scales: something has to load fast, read well, and keep working when traffic arrives. Designing and engineering it as one job removes the handoff where speed usually goes missing.

Performance is a budget agreed at the start rather than a rescue at the end. The CMS is chosen for whoever edits it, not whoever builds it, and search and analytics are wired in before launch so the first week tells you something.

What the service covers

Everything this work
includes, spelled out

01

Architecture
and CMS

The technology is chosen for your team, not for our portfolio. If your editors live in a CMS, the CMS is part of the product.

Design and build,

The site is designed by the people who build it, so what you approve is what ships, at the speed it was approved at.

  • Landing pages that load instantly
  • Commerce and checkouts

How it runs

A demo every Friday, one fixed quote, and you own everything you pay for. The process is the same on every project — this is how it runs for web platforms.

01

The read on what you have

An audit of the current site: what ranks, what loads slowly, what to keep. About half of a good rebuild is knowing what not to touch.

02

Design in the browser early

Real pages with real content within the first two weeks, reviewed where they will live.

03

Build against the budget

Every page ships inside the performance budget or it does not ship. Weekly demos throughout.

04

Launch without drama

Redirects mapped, analytics carried over, rankings watched through the switch. Then the site is yours.

FAQ

We agree the number up front, typically interactive in about a second on a normal connection, and treat it as a requirement rather than a hope.

Static and framework builds, headless CMS setups, or full web applications, chosen by what your team can run. We are not a one stack shop.

Handled properly, no: redirects, metadata and structure are part of the launch checklist, and we watch rankings through the cutover.

We strongly prefer both, because quality is usually lost at the handover between separate teams. If you have one half genuinely covered, we will say whether the fit works.
